This year has the most up and coming Broadway and off-broadway shows since the COVID-19 lockdown. Here is a list of some of the upcoming shows in 2024:
The Notebook the Musical, an adaptation of the book and movie The Notebook, is opening this March. Water for Elephants, based on Sam Gruen’s novel, is also opening in March and is starring Grant Gustin from the television show Glee. The Outsiders the Musical opens this April, and is based on both the film and novel. This May, The Great Gatsby musical, based on the movies and novel, will star Eva Noblezada and Jeremy Jordan on Broadway. The musical did a short preview at the Papermill Playhouse in November. Finally, the play Mary-Jane starring Rachel McAdams will start in April.
